On Friday July 16 at the intersection of Malcolm X Ave SE & MLK Ave SE in Washington DC, a mass shooting took place. Six people were shot and a six year old girl was killed. 

In efforts to address the current gun violence epidemic, Commissioner Salim Adofo is calling for 100 Black Men to help bring peace and empowerment to this community. 

Black Men will be asked to take leadership and help distribute resources to the community.
