JOB ALERT | Project + Administrative Assistant - $45k+ /year

Four-Month Commitment (possibility of permanent)

CSAJ works at the intersection of gender-based violence, poverty, and social inequality. Given CSAJ’s mission and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we strongly encourage Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people with disabilities to apply.

The Center for Survivor Agency and Justice is seeking a full-time Project and Administrative Assistant to join our team for a four-month commitment, with the possibility of long-term employment, depending upon fit, organizational needs, and funding. The Assistant will provide logistical, organizational, coordinating, and communications support to enhance the capacity and deepen impact of all of CSAJ’s programs.

CSAJ is composed of a small team of diverse and cross-discipline advocates who are wholly committed to creative and justice-minded social change work for survivors of gender-based violence. We are looking for a lively, bright, creative, and self-motivated Project and Administrative Assistant to deepen the impact of CSAJ’s nationwide and demonstration site work by offering administrative, organizational, and logistical support.

The Project and Administrative Assistant will report to CSAJ’s Director of Research and Programs and will offer direct support to CSAJ’s Capacity Building Manager, to ensure that training and technical assistance are planned and carried out effectively and that key learnings and tools are shared with the field.

This full-time position is a four month employment commitment, with the possibility of long-term employment, depending upon funding, organizational needs, and fit.

This is a remote position. CSAJ operated remotely long before COVID-19 and continues to function remotely. The candidate may be located anywhere in the United States, with a preference for those who can work East Coast hours.

Starting salary for the position is $45,000 per year, along with health insurance, a generous vacation package, and remote and flexible working hours. The full-time position is for a commitment of four months, with the possibility to extend to long-term employment, depending upon funding, organizational needs, and fit.
