This role supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of health-related education, outreach, and engagement in underserved communities. This individual will shape Alexandria Health Department’s future Community Health Worker program and build a strategy to ensure all residents are empowered to live their healthiest lives.

The Outreach Coordinator will supervise up to five full-time staff. This role has flexibility in remote working, but may be required to come into the office to print materials and attend community meetings in person.

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and ranges from $33 to $38.50.
