REPORTS TO: Board of Directors 

The Executive Director (ED) plays an integral role in the overall success of Art Works Now as the chief administrator, providing leadership and implementing policies and programs to carry out the work of the organization. Working closely with other members of the executive team, and the Board of Directors, the ED envisions, plans and leads activities that advance the mission, work and sustainability of the organization. The ED is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation and execution of strategies to design, evaluate, expand and sustain programs; identify, educate and cultivate foundation, corporate, and major donors; and promote and expand community awareness of and engagement with AWN programs and services. The ED is the primary role, along with the Board Chair, responsible for Board development, and the primary spokesperson for AWN with the media and in private and public forums.
