Jan 22 | Anacostia Arts Center presents Bill Lee’s A Year To Remember and Forget Digital Art Opening

Friday at 5:30 PM EST
Price: Free

Bill Lee’s A Year To Remember and Forget is an ode to the ups and downs of 2020. The isolation stemming from COVID 19, civil unrest in response to anti-Black police brutality, and a conspiracy filled election have marked 2020 as one of the worst years in recent memory. As a photographer, Lee was both blessed and cursed with perspective-altering subjects to cover. Baptisms, Go-gos, and protests are captured from Lee's perspective. A Year To Remember is full of reflections of the human condition under the weight of such a difficult year.

A Year To Remember and Forget opens on January 22, 2021, with a live artist's talk slated to take place the same day at 6:30 PM. Tune in to the Anacostia Arts Center Facebook page to participate!
