My bad guys! When I posted about this new grant earlier this week I wasn’t aware that getting unemployment (PUA) was a disqualifying factor. A Ward 8 photographer let me know they applied for the program (they lost all of their business because of the closures) but they were denied because they were getting Pandemic Unemployment Assistance.

With that in mind, I’m not really sure how many contractors or sole proprietors in the entertainment supporting business industry will qualify for this grant. It must be frustrating for those who were hoping to apply for this grant as the $179/week in PUA benefits are not sufficient for survival.
