This Emergency Management Specialist is assigned to the Homeland Security and Preparedness Division of the DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA). This position reports to the Preparedness Evaluation Bureau Chief and will focus on providing emergency management support to agencies throughout the District of Columbia and the National Capital Region (NCR). The work involves the administration of broad capability assessments to include the annual Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA), Stakeholder Preparedness Review (SPR).
