As part of DDOT's commitment to the improvement and restoration of local sidewalks, construction activities will occur at the following locations throughout the next two weeks east of the river.

• Astor Place SE, between Central Avenue SE and 53rd Street SE

• 48th Place NE, between Blaine Street NE and Central Avenue NE

Ward 8

• 15th Street SE, between V Street SE and W Street SE

• 14th Street SE, between Good Hope Road SE and S Street SE

• 19th Place SE, between U Street SE and Good Hope Road SE

• Savannah Street SE, between 22nd Street SE and 23rd Street SE

• Galen Street SE, between Green Street SE and Dead End

• Sheridan Road SE, between Martin Luther King Jr Avenue SE and Bowen Road SE

Citywide Alley Restoration Projects

DDOT is improving alleys across the city. Once work begins, access to parts of the alley under construction will be closed, and parking is restricted. In emergency situations, access may be permitted by notifying DDOT. Work is estimated to take about two weeks, weather permitting.
