Center for Black Equity seeks PT Digital Media Assistant and PT Program Assistant
The Center for Black Equity seeks a part-time digital media assistant to support content development and research as well as digital media production. This opportunity is available immediately. Work will be remote and supporting all CBE activity.

The program assistant is a valuable member of the CBE team and serves in the essential role of assisting with the digital media presence of the CBE. The program assistant will create rich, dynamic content tailored to the Black LGBTQ+ community.

The program assistant is responsible for supporting the President/CEO in many of his day-to-day responsibilities. The program assistant will also ensure the professional, effective, and efficient operation of the CBE’s headquarter office in Washington, DC. This position will include the following responsibilities:
Maintaining the President’s schedule, and assisting in organizing meetings, conferences, and other events
Preforming on-line research and drafting a host of documents
Performing clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail, making deliveries, answering phone calls, including taking and delivering messages
Maintaining organizational files and archives
Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new supplies as needed
Welcoming visitors and dignitaries in a cordial, professional manner
Ensuring the office runs smoothly
Other duties as assigned
