“As the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, we preserve the land and water, improve the visitor experience and ensure that the community owns the redevelopment effort in Anacostia Park.
Anacostia Park is one of DC’s largest green spaces, spanning 1,100 acres along the dynamic ecosystem that is the Anacostia River. Anacostia Park is also one of the only national parks in the country with a skating pavilion, making it a hub for recreation and community kinship.
We collaborate with the National Park Service to protect the natural and built environment and bring residents’ ideas for the Park to life.”
