🌟 STARTS APRIL 25TH! Free After-School Poetry Classes on Mondays for Youth Ages 7-14 [SP]
Forget those old notions you have about poetry! Poetry is all around us from spoken word, to hip hop from Langston Hughes to Shakespeare! Kids will learn to expand their minds, reveal their creative sides and express themselves with confidence. Through vocalization and then through writing they take ownership of their voice and themselves through the language of imagination. Poetry inspires exploration and community building in a safe space where kids can express themselves without judgment.
