American Society of Transplant Surgeons seeks Program Assistant - $44k to $46k

Want to join a collaborative, high-functioning team to make a difference in the lives of transplant patients?

The National Living Donor Assistance Center (NLDAC) is seeking a team-oriented individual to serve as the Program Assistant for this patient-facing, government-funded program. Established in 2007, the NLDAC operational arm is housed within the national headquarters of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and administers a grant from the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) to provide reimbursement of travel and subsistence expenses toward living organ donation. The grant was recently renewed for a 5-year term starting in September 2019. Additionally, the Program Assistant will support the daily operations of the recently funded Lost Wages Demonstration Project. We’re looking for someone who can provide great service to transplant centers and patients as well as help grow the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Program Assistant will provide overall administrative support to the NLDAC Program. The Program Assistant should have strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask and the desire to participate in a team-based environment.
