ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Jamila Madyun graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Fashion Design. After graduation she moved to NYC and gained industry experience working alongside fashion designer Tracy Reese. She has worked as a lead sewing instructor for Arena Stage summer arts program, and a volunteer instructor with DC Threads Sewing Lounge.

From that enriching experience, in 2014 she founded her own design company, "Stitched With Style" which specializes in the development of aspriring designers and sewing enthusiast. Her company offers various classes, workshops, and private instruction for children and adults. Students under her instruction learn fashion sewing, illustration design, pattern making, draping and alterations.
