Arrest Made in Burglary One While Armed (Gun):
2300 Block of Good Hope Road, Southeast
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in a Burglary One While Armed (Gun) offense, which occurred in the 2300 block of Good Hope Road, Southeast on Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
At approximately 5:55 pm, four subjects armed with handguns entered the location, asked where the money was, and assaulted one of the complainants. The suspect took property and cash, and then fled the location.
On Wednesday, March 9, 2016, a juvenile male was arrested pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Burglary One while Armed (Gun).
The investigation is ongoing.

Arrest Made in Assault with Intent to Kill:
800 Block of Chesapeake Street, Southeast
(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch announced an arrest has been made in an Assault with Intent to Kill offense which occurred on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at approximately 5:27 pm.
While walking in the 800 block of Chesapeake Street, Southeast an altercation transpired between the victim and the suspect. The suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
At the same time, members of the Seventh District were on patrol in the area, when they heard the sound of gun shots. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
After further investigation, on Thursday, March 10, 2016, 29-year-old Anthony Wade of no fixed address was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill.
