In January 2015 , The Washington Post reported that the neighborhood experienced one of the biggest gains in median home price in the D.C. area in the year 2014. Last year, the median sales price rose 21 percent , from $200,000 in 2013 to $242,900 in 2014. According to national real estate brokerage Redfin, the current median sale price for homes in the neighborhood is $285,000, while the median listing price is $389,000.
