Eternal Spring exhibition
@ Anacostia Arts Center, 1231 Good Hope Rd. SE
Artist Matt Hollis exhibits a new series of “petals on canvas” in Eternal Spring. These bold, graphic works are each comprised of hundreds of fake flower petals, sewn into layers on fabric and mounted on canvas. The assemblages condense the allure and sensuality of nature and represent the power that both art and organic forms have to mesmerize and attract the viewer. Learn more.
