When a troubled urban teen with a thirst for meaning gets himself in trouble, an unlikely champion from the the past appears to show him a way out. Sparks fly as Sojourner Truth takes Peter ona journey back through time, into her amazing life story, her world and its people. As Peter opens his eyes to scenes and songs from Sojourners life, part of his own history, he discovers who he really is and how good it feels and sounds to finally speak the TRUTH!
