[Nspiregreen LLC] a sustainability-consulting firm, that exists to transform and empower every community on the planet, is proud to announce our selection as Employer of the Year by the Washington, DC Chapter of Women's Transportation Seminar (WTS). WTS is an international organization dedicated to building the future of transportation through the global advancement of women.
The Women's Transportation Seminar - Employer of the Year award honors an employer who is a leader in transportation, supports women employees and students in the industry, and has advanced the reputation and credibility of women in transportation.
"Chancee and I set up to create a company environment that values our employees and provides them with the tools to be successful. Even as a small company we invest in our people in addition to trying to cultivate a fun company culture that provides people the space to be innovative. I'm honored that WTS sought to acknowledge us as Employer of the Year," said co-owner Veronica O. Davis.
"When Veronica and I started Nspiregreen we wanted to create a company culture where we would be proud to work," said co-owner Chancee` Lundy.
"As a company of engineers and urban planners, who coincidentally happen to be all women, we continue to dispel myths about women in technical fields while paying it forward to the next generation of women leaders."

US Secretary of Transportation - Anthony Foxx - Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award;
Patricia Hendren - Woman of the Year;
Avital Barnea - Member of the Year; and
Colleen Hawkinson for moveDC - Innovative Transportation Solutions Award.
The awards event will occur during the WTS annual Holiday Party and will take place on
December 9, 2014 at the Goethe Institute from
6:00-8:30pm.
