Vendors and Volunteers Wanted for the HAT Festival @ Gateway DC

From the HAT Festival website:

WHAT IS THE HUMANITIES, ARTS & TECHNOLOGY FESTIVAL?
Made possible through a grant awarded by the Deputy Mayor’s Office of Planning and Economic Development, the FREE festival series will be held over two, amazing weekends in August and October of 2014. The first date is August 2-3, 2014.

The heart of the festival is located in the center of one of the District’s most prized historic campuses, St. Elizabeths East, in the 1100 block of Alabama Avenue SE. The East Campus is the home of a new Gateway Pavilion currently which opened in September 2013. The Pavilion serves as a gateway to the St. Elizabeths East Innovation Hub and will usher in a new chapter of visitors to the campus, including local residents and the 3,700 U.S. Coast Guard employees. The Humanities, Arts & Technology Festival is the perfect platform to embrace the changes to the historic campus, while celebrating the District’s and Ward 8 community’s rich heritage, culture and creativity.

Festival events will kick-off on Saturday, August 2 at 1 p.m. The theme of this summer's festival is "Humanities, Arts & Technology at Work," and each day will include a fascinating, interactive display of the city's creative economy. Each date will feature an exciting scope of activities, live performances, art exhibits, readings and workshops, tech and food demonstrations, kid programming and other exciting activities that will be fun for the entire family.
