Traffic Advisory | Southbound DC 295 Ramp to Westbound I-695 Closed Overnight on July 9, 2014
(Washington, DC) As part of the 11th Street Bridge project, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close the ramp from southbound DC 295 (Anacostia Freeway) to the 11th Street Inbound Freeway Bridge (westbound I-695) overnight on Wednesday, July 9, 2014; from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.the following morning. The closure is needed to allow crews to complete overhead sign panel modifications.
During the ramp closure, signed detours will be posted:
DETOUR
· Motorists traveling southbound on DC 295 will be detoured to the Suitland Parkway, then onto I-295 north to access the 11th Street Inbound Freeway Bridge (westbound I-695) and westbound I-395 (Southeast/Southwest Freeway).
In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, this work will be rescheduled and an updated advisory will be distributed.
