Noooooo!!!! It looks like the Dots store in The Shops at Park Village is closing. No idea why or when but this is definetly a blow to the already limited retail scene in Ward 8.  Not to mention that with the store's closing will go some much needed Ward 8 jobs. :(

At a time when retailers are flocking ( and I mean flocking) west of the river why can't we seem to attract (and retain) national retailers? Has "gentrification" really exploded in Ward 8 when we can't even keep the doors open on a discount clothing store?

If anyone has the skinny on Dots closing please share in the comments. Fingers crossed this is just a move -- although I doubt it.
