This meeting is important because there will be a vote to determine who the Ward 8 Democrats endorsement goes to. In order to receive an endorsement a candidate has to get 60% of the vote. Any Ward 8 resident who is a registered Democrat can vote. If you aren't yet registered to vote you can register at the event and cast a provisional ballot. 

Come out and vote! Your vote will be anonymous but you will still be part of the process so come out and vote! I can't think of the last time the Ward 8 Democrats were able to have an official endorsement. The 60% threshold is so hard to make.
