This meeting is important because there will be a vote to determine who the Ward 8 Democrats endorsement goes to. In order to receive an endorsement a candidate has to get 60% of the vote. Any Ward 8 resident who is a registered Democrat can vote. If you aren't yet registered to vote you can register at the event and cast a provisional ballot. 

Come out and vote! Your vote will be anonymous but you will still be part of the process so come out! The mayoral candidates will be at this meeting to discuss their respective platforms.  I can't think of the last time the Ward 8 Democrats were able to have an official endorsement. 

The 60% threshold is so hard to make so every vote counts.
