I just noticed a big uptick in blog traffic today -- probably because ChotR was included in the Greater Greater Washington and Housing Complex morning links. I am sure some (if not most) of this increased traffic is from people not very familiar with our community. That being said I like to take this opportunity to introduce (or reintroduce them) to some of my favorite things and moments in Ward 8. There are challenges here (and they need to be addressed!) but there are a lot of good things here too. People from all over DC should take a moment and appreciate them.
