Signs of life at the Anacostia Arts Center
As much as I love having the Anacostia Arts Center in the community for the community I am just as excited that this facility can act as a meeting place for our west of the river neighbors to come over and "hang."
Take a moment and contribute to the foot traffic and growing revitalization of Anacostia's mainstreets.
The Art Center is open Tuesday - Saturday, 11am - 7pm.
There is free wi-fi and a lounge so just come and sit and people watch and maybe bring your laptop or a newspaper (we have plenty if you don't have one). Come in and check out the two new boutiques --- both small businesses. Downstairs is The HIVE 2.0 -- see entrepreneurs in action and join them! Afterwards head next door after to check out Honfleur Gallery and The Gallery at Vivid solutions and of course there are arts performances taking place at the Anacostia Playhouse.
Arts in Anacostia -- something for everyone. Now come visit!!!!!
