Oh right we need curtains and lights. And more chairs, and risers and sound and… well, you get the picture. Come and help us get this place ready to roll at
Raise the Roof 2.0.
Our first Raise the Roof inaugurated the H Street Playhouse.
Now it’s time to rock Anacostia!

One teeny ticket price gets you an evening of entertainment from fabulous entertainers like Melvin Deale,
Stephawn Stephens, Robert Person, David North, The Jaynettes, John Johnson and Verbal Gymnastics,
Theater Alliance, Joanne Schmoll, Desire DuBose and more! It’s all under the direction of Paul Douglas Michnewicz.

The party takes place on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 8:00 pm.
Tickets are $50 each or $85 per couple which includes munchies and drinks for the evening (and did we mention that great entertainment?)
The Anacostia Playhouse is located at 2020 Shannon Place, SE in Historic Anacostia
There’s lots of parking on the street, Metro four blocks away, many bus lines and several Bikeshare stations.

All proceeds go directly to outfitting the theater and furthering a project that is proud to be the newest member of Historic Anacostia’s arts district!
