WHAT IS CONSIDERED A TRAFFIC VIOLATION?

Stay informed. :)

From www.dccourts.gov:

  • What is considered a traffic violation?
Traffic violations include offenses such as no permit, unregistered auto, operating after suspension, operating after revocation, driving while intoxicated, driving under the influence, and driving while impaired. These charges are heard in the DC/Traffic Community Court, in courtroom 115 of the Moultrie Courthouse. Information on those types of Traffic cases can be found on Court Cases Online.
  • The D.C. Superior Court does not handle minor traffic offenses; those are handled by the D.C. Department of Motor Vehicles.
