This panel discussion explores varying views on the merit of public murals to include a history of public art in SE Washington, challenges posed to renewal activities, new pop-up art activities, and efforts to retain current public art and create new public art. This community forum is part of the museum's project  Call and Response: Community and Creativity, which explores creativity east of the Anacostia River.
