Will be posting more videos of tonight's community in to discuss
Calvary Women's Services plans to open a homeless shelter on main street Anacostia.
I'm going to skip the editorializing and encourage everyone to watch the videos for themselves, in particular the video of our councilmember and the community's response to Calvary and Barry (in a nutshell they weren't happy with either). If there was ever a meeting that illustrated the ever widening rift between Ward 8 and Barry it was this meeting.
Highlights:
Barry spent about 15 minutes at the meeting (most of it spent cleaning a stain on his jacket),
Flip-flopped on his position (blamed that on others "distorting" his views),
And when challenged by audience members Barry responded with, "vote me out!"
