I thought the name David Tolson sounded familiar and then I remembered fellow blogger River East Idealist recounting tales of shoddy construction at Brandywine Condominiums, the same Ward 8 condominium that had over $150,000 of their association fees stolen by a shady property management company. I wish I could say that Brandywine was the only Ward 8 condo association with such bad luck but I am hearing tales of several condominiums falling victim to poor construction and no association funds to make repairs. The situation is so bad that I know of several first-time homebuyers who are walking away from their homes.
