ANC Commissioner Greta Fuller was kind enough to provide me with the following correspondence and petition regarding the proposed (now being constructed) homeless shelter on Anacostia's main street. Five months later Commissioner Fuller, ANC 8A, and the residents and business owners of Anacostia are still requesting a public meeting with Calvary Women's Services. Commissioner Fuller also has email correspondence.

This is not just an Anacostia issue, this is a Ward 8 issue. Where is the Ward 8 Council Member and   where are the Ward 8 Council candidates? Hello? The community is asking for something very simple, a meeting to discuss what is happening and what is going to happen in their community.
