Help a blogger out please.

Ever since I started CHotR during the summer of 2008 the plan has always been to have a logo but between blogging, blogging, and more blogging there never seemed to be enough time (or money) to commission a logo for this blog.

And as much as I love (and I mean love) the Eartha Kitt Catwoman icon I have been using as my little avatar I really need to retire it before I receive a "cease and desist" letter from the Kitt estate. :)

That being said I would really like to go into the new year with a new logo -- hopefully one that represent my hopes, dreams, and sarcasm for documenting life East of the River.

Therefore I am calling on my readers to assist me on my journey for a new logo and/or new profile icon.

I need some artistic help and vision.

I need someone to either work with me to craft a new logo or to submit something they have in mind.

In terms of compensation, blogging is free but not cheap so this will be an unpaid project however I appreciate the time, creativity, and effort in assisting me with my new logo therefore I propose a barter of sorts. In exchange for a kick ass logo and/or The Advoc8te icon I will provide plenty of advertising on CHotR for your services/company or a nonprofit of your choice. Considering that my blog does get a decent amount of pickups from other media outlets and plenty of pageviews it is a great opportunity to  have your work seen.
