Please fill out all sections of the survey, including name and address, and please specify if this is your home or work address.
The options for the site have generated a great discussion here and a strong case has been made for several of the proposals. We hope you will continue this conversation with your friends and neighbors who have not been able to attend our meetings, or on your listservs.
Please remember that the Commission on Arts and Humanities presented these as alternatives.Any combination of concepts would mean that each feature would have to be scaled back. In other words, we cannot have a totem pole, elaborate xeriscaping, AND a complex artistic lighting installation. Please keep this in mind when voting and encouraging your neighbors to vote. We hope for a great turnout!
One other reminder, this Saturday is the Anacostia main street cleanup. It will be from 8:00am-12:00pm and will begin at the intersection of Howard Rd and MLK Jr Ave SE. To volunteer, please contact Greta Fuller at gretajanet@yahoo.com.
For any other questions, please contact me directly, and as always, thank you very much for your participation!
Best,
