Fire At Crown Gas Station In Congress Heights

Update July 27: Drove past Crown gas station and there were open for business. Noticed a little fire damage in the rear of the building but otherwise it was business as usual.

Will try and get pictures tomorrow but the very good news is there appears not to be any injuries.  You may recall that Crown gas station ( formerly Chevron) was the subject of several unflattering blog posts and news stories including one where I recounted my experience getting a gasoline shower.  I was so not amused. The gas station attendent on duty at the time was so not concerned that gas + lit flame could = boom.  To be fair, some improvements (at least on the exterior) had been made. No idea on what started tonight's fire.  Will update as reports come in.
