Reading Partners is a national non-profit organization partnering with 4 DC public and charter schools where the majority of students are at or below poverty level.  We are in need of volunteer tutors at Center City Public Charter School, Congress Heights Campus.

We are looking for tutors to volunteer one hour or more each week.  They will be partnered with a student they'll work with every week to teach basic reading skills.  We will provide all of the training and our program is scripted so there is no need for you to plan or bring anything - just show up and we take care of the rest!

If you are interested in volunteering an hour a week to help a child in your community learn how to read, contact Andrew Stone ( astone@readingpartners.org) and he will arrange a time for you to visit the school and receive your training.
