Casting: MCIW (musical comedy Iraq war)

The New Musical Foundation is seeking musical theater performers of all ages for new musical by Marshall Pailet (co-author of last year's best Fringe musical "Super Claudio Bros.")

Rehearses 6/25 - 7/14 followed by 20 performances at Woolly Mammoth ( 641 D St. NW ).

Actors will be compensated. Equity and non-equity may apply.

Cast Breakdown

The Three Sluts (20's) - Our journalists and our narrators, Coop, Keith and Bill O. Petty, selfish young girls with fair-weather omnipotence.

Detective Richart (20's) - A German junior detective. Young, ambitious, party animal. Frustrated with his lack of playing time, devises a plan to become the sole handler on the Curveball case.

Nelson (30's – 40's) - Ex field operative, now a mid-level analyst at CIA headquarters. Big, brash, bored and hot-headed. Misses the action. Tries to take control of the Curveball case in DC.

Curveball (30's) - An Iraqi defector, and the only source on the

Weapons of Mass Destruction. Enchanting, manipulative, and utterly unpredictable.

Also seeking M/F ensemble members of to play CIA analysts, military officers, politicians, etc.
