In their ongoing quest to provide customers with quality dining and drink options East of the River,  Big Chair Coffee and Grill in Historic Anacostia  has applied for and  received their liquor license. The liquor license will allow them to add beer, wine, and mixed drinks to their food and beverage menu.  Big Chair Coffee and Grill wants their valued customers to know they are still the neighborhood coffee shop. The liquor license is just the next step to offer East of the River patrons the kind of dining experience enjoyed by responsible consumers throughout the District, the option to have a beer or glass of wine with their meal.

To mark this special occasion Big Chair Coffee and Grill will open their doors and start serving beer and wine this Sunday, February 6th in celebration of Super Bowl XLV.  Doors will open at 11am and will close at 11pm.
