The Ward 8 Tennis Council, Inc. will host a Dinner Event on Saturday, March 27th at 7:00 PM, at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church, 2616 MLK Ave., SE. On this night we will honor and “roast” our friend and colleague, Philip Pannell.

This is a fundraising event to benefit the Ward 8 Tennis Council in its work to provide not only tennis instruction, but academic assistance, life skills and mentoring to our city’s dis-advantaged youth in Wards 7 and 8. This event will provide private funding needed due to recent budget cuts.


Tickets are $50.00 per person and a table will seat 10 persons for $500.00. I am sure you agree that your support and presence is worthwhile to help save this valuable community organization.
