My name is Nate Bennett-Fleming, a Native Washingtonian that is running for D.C. U.S. "Statehood" Representative, because I believe the time is now to strengthen the movement for DC Statehood and bring the political rights of our country to the citizens of the District of Columbia by ending taxation without representation. With President Obama in the White House, we must take advangtage of an opportunity to bring statehood and full self-government to the District. We are less than six months away from Election Day and I would like your support in our effort to build a grassroots movement for political justice and equality for D.C.

Shortly, I will be announcing my candidacy for DC Shadow Representative, and I am requesting your presence at a campaign meet and greet this Saturday at Big Chair Coffee so you can learn more about my vision and how you can be involved in engineering change for D.C. Our campaign can be the catalyst through which we come together and make history by bringing freedom to the citizens of Washington D.C. You can take the first step by coming out on Saturday.
