VIDEO: The HOPE Project Open House

I'm Raymond Bell, founder and administrator of the HOPE Project. The HOPE Project is a pilot training program for young people ages 18-25. We are preparing our young people for rewarding careers as helpdesk and application support professionals. The program is a 100% volunteer effort. Class meets 3 nights a week, the program start date was Sept. 28th, the program will end June of this year. We recruited socially and economically disadvantaged young people through Ward 8. We held information sessions throughout Ward 8; including Barry Farm, Ballou High School, THE ARC, Covenant House, even the KFC of Good Hope Road.

The program is a bright light in the city and the light is getting brighter. The program is the most comprehensive career training program for young people in the DMV. Our students attend class in the evenings, 6:30pm - 9:00pm. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Please contact us for more info on the program...
