Last night The Advoc8te along with some Ward 8 residents (including Southeast Socialite) attended "Screen on the Green" at the National Mall. It was a GREAT event. Not only was the movie great but it was great enjoying the summer night with the district.

Next Monday is the final night in the 'Screen on the Green' series so if you can try and make it out. The movie is James Dean's 'Rebel Without A Cause'.

It would be great if we could have such events over here in Ward 8. Can't you just imagine watching 'Shaft' or 'Foxy Brown' at the amphitheater in Oxon Run Park? How about some really great Sidney Poitier films?
