This violence must stop. Too many of our young men are losing their lives to the streets leaving devastate families and communities. We must have more respect for life.
We lost three people last night, 2 in River East and one right here in Congress Heights. The violence must stop. If you know anything about any of these homicides please contact the police. You can even submit an anonymous tip by calling 919-CRIME or by texting 50411.

D.C. police are investigating three overnight homicides around the city.
Police say 54-year-old Nathaniel Hall of southeast Washington was fatally stabbed Saturday evening. Officials have charged 39-year-old Bernard Gayles with the murder.
In a separate incident, police say 25-year-old Demarcus Brown was found dead in southeast D.C. with multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday.
Another man, 23-year-old Dallas Williams of northwest Washington also was gunned down in northeast D.C. early Sunday. Williams died at a hospital.
