There are PLENTY of vacant properties in River East that can do with this new system. I love how DCRA will be charging the owners of vacant properties the $1500 a month to rent the new steel screens. Abandoned vacant properties are a community hazard. We need to do everything we can to ensure vacant properties don't turn into nuisance properties.
