SATURDAY SCHOLARS PROGRAM

Saturday Scholars is a powerful 12-week academic intervention program beginning January 24, 2009 and running through April 18, 2009.

It is designed to:
give targeted instruction to students in grades 3-12 with critical reading, math and test prep skills in preparation for the spring DC-CAS (standardized test)

  • prepare students in grades 11 and 12 for Advanced Placement exams
  • increase students’ regular school attendance
  • increase students’ interests in school activities
  • encourage parental involvement
