Held at 8:30 am on Thanksgiving morning in West Potomac Park in Washington, DC, the Trot for Hunger is a 5K fun run and family walk that benefits SOME's programs for the hungry and homeless. Make a Holiday Dinner Basket for a Homebound Senior

You can give a homebound, low-income senior something to celebrate this holiday season by making a Thanksgiving or Holiday basket for a senior in our Caregivers program.
With your help, the elderly low-income women and men whom SOME serves will be able to enjoy a hearty, festive meal. Please see the attached flyer for a complete listing of what goes into a wonderful holiday basket. Also, volunteers are needed to help deliver the baskets on Saturday, November 15 and Saturday, December 13. If you would like to make the season special for a low-income senior, please contact Jenna Jones at jjones@some.org.
