Community Meeting:
Small Area Planning for Poplar Point
What: The Deputy Mayor’s Office for Planning and Economic Development and the
National Park Service are serving as joint-lead agencies in the preparation of an
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the redevelopment of Poplar Point.
The July 29th meeting is the first of three public meetings to develop the Small
Area Plan alternatives that will be studied in the EIS. This meeting will be an
interactive workshop on site planning principles.
