ABOUT MORGAN DAVIS

Entrepreneurship, and the arts has been a large part of Morgan’s life. At the age of 17, Morgan started her first plus-size clothing line, where she would sew custom pieces for women sizes 14 and up. After this, she went on to pursue her BFA in Design with a Concentration in Fashion for Howard University -- which helped create a full-fledged catalyst into creativity, black empowerment, and business development.

In addition to being the founder + CEO of Distinctly Creative, she is a graphic + fashion designer, marketer, photographer, and business strategist. In the past 6+ years she has worked within the AdWords team at Google, providing marketing + graphic design services to a variety of institutions like the University of Maryland, George Mason University, and the National Trust of Historic Preservation, and has helped countless entrepreneurs in the DMV and abroad with their marketing, visual branding, and business development needs.

Morgan has had her work shown at a variety of events + venues throughout the DMV like the Woodlawn & Pope-Leighey House, Lee's Flower Shop on U Street, and DC Fashion Week. She has also spoken at various events and organizations like George Washington University, Impact Hub, and FHI 360 about her passion for black creativity, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.
