The cast of powerhouse vocalists and performers includes Ayanna Hardy (Earthrise, Black Nativity), Marcel Worrell Miller (A Nite at the Dew Drop Inn, Black Nativity), Robert E. Person (Six Degrees of Separation, A Nite at the Dew Drop Inn, Black Nativity), Yvette Spears (A Nite at the Dew Drop Inn), Fashad Tyler (Black Nativity [Helen Hayes nomination]) and Sherice Payne Williams (A Nite at the Dew Drop Inn, Black Nativity).
“The cast of A Snowy Nite at the Dew Drop Inn, bring their unique gifts to the stage in celebration of the juke joint, those night spots where people could leave their troubles and the door, sit back, and enjoy the blues and laughs with old friends,” said Anacostia Playhouse Artistic Director Stephawn Stephens. “The show’s musical themes of love, both lost and found, remind us of life itself and that we can still kick up the dust and raise the roof to the heavens with our voices.”
