ATTENTION FILMMAKERS! 
Submissions are now being accepted for the 2nd Annual Anacostia Shorts Film Contest presented by Open Road Film Festival in collaboration with the Valley Place Arts Collaborative. 

Eligibility
Must be an Anacostia or DC, Maryland, or Virginia-based filmmaker OR the short film (or documentary) must be filmed in Anacostia or explore a subject rooted in Anacostia. Entry must be under 20 minutes. 

Cash Prizes
$2,000 1st Place
$1,000 2nd Place
$500 3rd Place

Submissions are due April 12, 2024. Notifications will be sent on April 19, 2024. Screenings will occur during the Open Road Film Festival, May 4 and 5, 2024, at Honfleur Gallery in Historic Anacostia.
